Prophetic Word for Today 7/26/26

Plain as day, the Holy Spirit spoke to me as I crossed into my back yard this morning, as I was thinking when we are frustrated by those around us and complaining about it, that we are literally admitting to ourselves and others how small our God is. Either God is able to overcome and so are we in every circumstance or we are a victim of it. When the woman in the Bible was following Paul and yelling out loud that he was a man of God continually, Paul got frustrated. Frustration is a motivation not a continuous state of being we should get accustomed to. God has told us that when there is temptation there is always a way of escape. Paul may have been tempted to become angry, bitter or run from the situation, what he did instead was act. Perhaps you don’t know how to use your authority in Christ and command the witchcraft spirit like Paul did. It is obvious from the story later the woman who had not given permission for such an exorcism was freed as her employers were complaining about it, as they’d lost wages she’d previously earned using that spirit. Paul chose to face off with the problem. He didn’t moan and groan about being a victim of it. Our God is either wiser, more powerful, more creative than the enemy and his wiles or HE isn’t much of a God. Afterall, HE created the devil in the first place. We need to learn and continually seek truth on how to command things to go. As Christians we were told that we have the keys of the kingdom, but having something and using it are two totally different things. We were made to be overcomers not victims of anything.

Recently in my own life, I’ve discovered if I just sit and listen to Holy Spirit’s voice He will speak on issues, I’m curious about or that others need to hear about. He puts things into perspective in such a precise and easy to understand way I can hardly believe I’m hearing it. It doesn’t need to be a complicated teaching with dozens of verses. Just a rational thought that makes perfect sense like the one above. God’s word says HIS yoke is easy and HIS burden is light. That measuring stick should apply to all of our problems. As I draw closer and closer to HIM and seek to serve HIS people with truth and love, HE simplifies what looks like a huge problem and puts the power back into our hands to deal with anything. We are not powerless and never were. But we need HIS guidance.

If like many you are struggling with some people/issues that seem unbearable it is no mistake you have stumbled upon this truth. Today is the first day I’ve posted in a few years. God wants to free you from what seems like it is engulfing you. There is an escape hatch. And HE will show you exactly how to find it. Do you. Don’t try to fix the other person/issue yourself. Wait for the truth of what words you are to speak, what strategy you are to take. Paul put up with the woman in the story for a bit but not long. We get wore down because we put up with what the enemy is doing way too long, and then wonder why God didn’t show up and fix it. However, HE handed the keys to the kingdom to us. We are all in training to learn how to be the children of God. Don’t stop seeking truth/HIM. Don’t give up and resign yourself that this state you are in won’t change. A lot of the time, it won’t until we do what we are called to do.

This issue isn’t that Paul was suffering so much, but the woman was entangled in a mess that was destroying her. She didn’t come to Paul for help but she certainly needed it and even he didn’t notice her until she made his life uncomfortable. The trials we go through are equally beneficial for others as they are for us. There is a whole world waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God/and daughters.
